Dominican Materialism Explained

Br. Bonaventure Chapman, O.P., a student brother at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC was recently interviewed on Sacred Heart Radio’s Son Rise Morning show.  He clarifies how material things are not only good but can even be elevated by grace.  Yet, this is different than a misinterpretation of the goodness of material things, in which materialism becomes the be-all end-all of life.  A right view of understanding material things includes realizing that there is something beyond the physical world which helps us to order all our physical actions as well as properly use the goods of the world.
